Latest Updates

This sweet adorable 8 week old cocker / mix was dropped off at the Greenville shelter by a good samaritan that found her.  She appears to have been kicked.  She has a diaphragmatic hernia and a broken leg.  Her intestines are protruding into her diaphragm.  She needs emergency surgery because she can't breath.  We told them to take her to the emergency room and we will do our best to raise the funds for the surgery.  We have had one emergency case after another.  It has been a terrible two days of non-stop abuse.  Please, help us save this adorable pup.  We do not want to be the ones to say put her down because there aren't any funds to do the surgery.  We desperately need everyones help on this.

Annie had her first operation yesterday evening and has survived through the night, thanks to all the Guardian Angels that jumped in and donated.  As soon as she is out of the woods with the first surgery, she will have to have a second operation to repair a badly broken leg from the kick.  She is at UVS in Greenville.  We have a link for them on our main page.

Annie has had her tube removed and is breathing fine.  When she gets strong enough we will operate on her broken leg.  She is a doll baby.

Sweet little Annie had her leg operated on Friday.  She is doing wonderful after both of her operations.  She has had a terrible bought of coccidia since she came in.  That  has improved but  not enough for her to leave the hospital.
