BRODIE

I am happy to report that sweet Brodie has finally decided to join the living again.  He had us scared for several days that he was not going to come out of this depression he went in after surgery.   It seems like the bigger the dog, the deeper the depression.  One thing is for sure; big dogs have to get up and move around.  If they don't,  they start getting pressure sores all over their body and start losing muscle mass pretty quickly.   Sweet Brodie also gave us a tail wag and a smile.   He isn't out of the woods because he has to do his rehab, and that requires him up moving around.  Today was a much better day, and hopefully he will continue to improve.   He is raising his head and acting a little more normal.  We are doing whatever it takes for him to get up and move around.  One thing is for sure; he has us all wrapped around his big paw.  We love him to pieces and are always happy to wrap our arms around his neck and shower him with kisses.    Thanks for caring about this wonderful boy.
