Latest Updates

I am happy to report that sweet Carly is doing amazing since her Eye Surgery to remove her left eye.   Once the Surgeon went in to remove her eye, she was shocked at how damaged the eye socket was.   It was so damaged that we decided we needed to x-ray her head to make sure she was not shot in her eye.  The x-ray did not show any pellets or remnants of metal.   She wasn't shot in her eye, but it appears someone intentionally destroyed her eye in such a horrific way that it went all the way to the back of her eye socket.   Carly has not had any issues she the eye was removed and the area repaired.    She has adapted beautifully since she has not had sight in that eye since the original injury.

To say Carly is Sweet is an understatement.   She is beyond sweet.  There is not one mean bone in this amazing dogs body.  She has been on the streets for three years being tortured, abused, and neglected.   The people in the area where she was found should be ashamed of themselves for not taking her in and giving her a home.   Carly is one of the nicest dogs I have been around in a very long time.   She should be a mascot for all Pitbulls.   All she wants to do is give kisses, and play.

Carly is being Fostered by a wonderful young lady that works at the Critical Care Facility where Carly was.   This way, she gets out of the hospital and goes back in for check-ups often.   Carly is loving being off the streets and into a home.  Every second is a great day for her, and it shows how happy she is.  The funny thing is that she gets to live and play with another larger Pitbull that looks just like her.  They play and wrestle all day long when she is not being cuddled with her wonderful Foster Mom.  We are hoping Carly will be a Foster Failure, and they will Adopt our dear girl.

Carly's bills are quite extensive.  We need to get them paid off so we can help other animals like our dear girl.   Please, Donate whatever you can or forward to your animal loving Friends.   Thanks for caring and making her amazing Journey to Survive and Thrive, possible.
