Adorable Cassie is doing amazing.   We just took recent x-rays and it looks like she is ready to go to her new home in one week.   This week she is getting Rehab and doing the underwater treadmill  to strengthen her front leg.   Cassie is one of the happiest pups.  She loves playing with other dogs.   Since she is still a puppy, she has the high energy of a puppy that has an endless supply of energy.   She plays until she is exhausted and then collapses in your lap after showering you with kisses.   Being a tripod does not slow her down at all.

I am happy to say that we have chosen an amazing Family to adopt Cassie.  Her name is being changed to Penny which is short for Penelope.   We have already started calling her Penny.   She is now used to her name and comes whenever she hears it expecting nothing less than a treat and lots of smooches.  Thanks for helping us with her medical care and being a part of her Journey to survive and find a new home where she is protected and loved.
