Sweet Cleo is healing beautifully since we removed the can from her lower jaw.  Her physical wounds can barely be seen since they were stitched up.   What has broken our hearts to see, is a dog that is utterly terrified of everyone.   She is deathly afraid of being anywhere that is not  next to a wall.   This sweet pup does not have a clue about human kindness.    We do not know who did this to her, but we do know the Family that she was removed have not shown her any loving kindness.  She will not even look you in the eye and shakes all the time.   It is the saddest thing to see a sweet dog fearful of everyone.   Everyone that works with her is taking every step to make sure she feels comfortable before they proceed.  We will turn to face the wall, so she does not have to look at you.   Cleo is going to be the best most loyal companion once we build up her confidence.   She gave up on love a long time ago.   We will be looking for a very special person that will surround her with unconditional love.   Her new home cannot be a loud home with lots of animals or children because that scares her too much.   It needs to be a quiet, peaceful home that will preferably have a fenced in yard.   The sooner we can get he into a home, the sooner she will learn to trust again.    If you think you are the right fit for her and have room in your heart for this wonderful dog, please contact us.   Her physical wounds are the least of our worries right now.  It's the wounds of Heart and Soul that have us most concerned.
