Adorable Dahlia is doing amazing.  She had her surgery and did not have any complications.  Everyone is in love with this wonderful little dog.  I will be very happy when her DNA test comes back to give us an idea what breed she is.     All of her bruises are beginning to go away, and her swelling is going down.  Dahlia was moved to Savannah where she is getting daily rehab at  Faulkville Animal Hospital.  She has already started putting weight on her leg and is as happy as she can be.   Young pups can endure a lot and still think Life is Good.   Dahlia will be on restricted exercise for the next six weeks.  After that, x-rays will be done to determine if she can start being a puppy and run around and play. 

Dahlia is going to heal beautifully and have a wonderful Life.  We are surprised we have not received any applications for her but we haven't.   She loves all animals and people.  All she wants to do is play.  Since she can't run around right now, she has taken giving kisses to a whole new level.  Everyone she meets is a reason for a kiss.   If you slow down long enough for a hug and a kiss, you will be on the floor with her in your lap before you realize what has happened.   Everyone is in Love with Dahlia.   Her beauty and charm are infectious.  She has not let the abuse she endured change her attitude toward people.   Love and love some more is her philosophy.  If you are looking for a new member of the Family for children and adults, don't look any further.   She is perfect in every way.
