ELSA

Adorable ELSA has done amazing since her leg was amputated.  She has embraced being a tripod without any issues.  Her only front leg is getting stronger but still has some growing to do.   She has a brace she can wear to support it while her growth plates are closing.  The main issue with her left leg is that her ligaments were hyperextended which caused her lower foot to rotate slightly and collapse.   Time has strengthened the ligaments, and she is developing more normally than we originally thought.   We still may have to do more surgery, but that will not be determined until her leg has fully developed.

Being a tripod has not stopped Elsa from running and playing just like the puppy she is.   The Foster Family she was with have decided they could never give her up and are going to adopt her.  She will be living with another NAR pup named Prancer that also has leg issues similar to Elsa.   As you can see from the picture, Elsa is spoiled rotten in her new home.   Given how well we know this Family, unconditional Love and Support is what Elsa will have for the rest of her Life.
