LILY BETH

I am happy to report that dear Lily Beth is ready to be adopted.    It is hard to believe this is the same pup that was on Death's Door four weeks ago..   Lily Beth spent two weeks in ICU fighting Parvo.   She had gotten so weak from the Parvo that her body had begun to shut down.   Very few people thought she would come out of ICU alive. The bills kept mounting, and she kept fighting.   During this time, she was in quarantine and was not allowed any visitors that were not fully suited up.    She probably hates the color yellow, after seeing so many people come in to work with her in these funny looking outfits. Her final days in ICU, we had to give her a blood transfusion because she was so anemic that we couldn't even get the necessary blood to test her values. Those tests were critical to her survival.  We had to know what she needed to balance out what her organs were no longer producing or were producing in excess.    Her tiny body finally began to come back to Life again.   The vibrant little puppy that we saw pictures of was showing us all that she was going to make it.    We all cheered the day she left ICU.   To finally get to wrap her in our arms without the yellow suits was celebratory all by itself.

We are not sure exactly what she is mixed with.  We still believe she is a Boston Terrier Mix based on her small size.   One thing we do know is that she is all puppy and with energy to spare.   She must be in a home where any other dogs are passive enough to allow her to play.  As you can see from the adorable videos, she will play from sun-up to sun-down.   Lily Beth plays until she is totally exhausted and falls over to sleep.    She is going to make an incredible family dog.  If you think you are the right Family for this adorable pup, please fill out our Adoption Application online.   Lily Beth will shower you with kisses and a Lifetime of unconditional Love.

We are still taking donations to pay off Lily Beth's extensive ICU bills.  As you can see from one of the pictures, we had to put her to work at the front desk to get her bills down.   The bills may be high but not compared to the Life that was saved when we took Lily Beth out of the hospital.  Thanks for caring and helping us save her.
