REMINGTON

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day week-end.  I am happy to report finally that Remi is out of the hospital and spent the holiday week-end with his Family.   I decided to wait a little longer before reporting his progress since every time I did it before, he was right back in ICU within a couple of days.   The Specialists and I both feel positive about him being able to sustain himself now that the worst is over.  He is on light exercise and is to be kept calm for the next month.   After that, if his bloodwork is back to normal, he can begin to be his normal happy self, running and playing.   We are cautiously optimistic and still praying a lot for him.

Remi's bills were higher than you could ever imagine.  He spent almost three weeks in ICU fighting for his Life and had over a dozen transfusions.   He is alive today because of the Specialists being on top of his medical care every step of the way.  He had a team of Specialists working on him 24-hours a day during that time.   On top of all that, he needed a constant supply of blood every day.   We are still working on paying down our bills from his stay.  Please, donate anything you can so we can help more abused animals.  I was going to say, "So we could help more dogs like Remi."   That is something I never want to experience again.

I also want to remind everyone that we are doing our best to not bombard you with e-mails all the time.    We are posting almost daily on our Facebook page.  If you don't want to get updates from Facebook, then please check out our FB page daily to see what is happening in the World of Noah's Arks Rescue.   We post Adoption Events, updates on new Adoptive Families, dogs ready to be adopted and how the ones are doing that are still receiving medical care.   If that doesn't work for you, we are always here to answer any of your questions.  All you have to do is drop us a note at, [email protected], and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.    Thanks for all the help with our pups.  None of this would be possible without your unwavering support.
