This sweet 1 to 2 year old little terrier was picked up as a stray in Charleston, SC.  She was taken to Charleston Animal Society where she was scheduled to be euthanized on Monday if no one stepped up for her.  No one came forth for this little girl so we broke down and decided she was worth saving. We hope to have her scheduled for surgery as soon as we raise the funds we need. She is heartworm negative and will be good as new once she has her surgery and rehab.  If you are interested in Benji, please let us know.

Benji did great during surgery and is starting to put weight on her leg.  She is a sweet dog.  She has a terrible skin infection on her belly we are treating now that has her very uncomfortable.   That will start to improve over the next week.

Benji is recovering and doing great.  She is using her leg but still has to be on restricted exercise.  She is a sweet, sweet dog that will need lots of love and affection.  She gets along with other dogs but would like nothing more than to lay in your lap all day long.

Benji has finally gotten her stitches out and could have her first bath.   YEA...YEA...YEA. She is doing great and is a dollbaby.

This wonderful little dog will be going to her new home this week.  She is using her leg and is so happy to be able to have baths and just relax in the arms of someone that loves her.
