🐾 Spud Is Ready for His Forever Home! 🐾
Our tiny Spud is doing amazing.
From the minute he had surgery, he got up and started running around as if nothing had happened. We believe he had been living with his injury and pain for so long that he simply learned to cope with it. Compared to what he had already endured, surgery was the easy part.
One of the challenges with dogs that have lived with an injury for an extended period is that their minds still tell them the leg doesn't work properly. Spud is now pain-free, but it will take a little time for him to fully trust that his leg can do everything it once did. When he forgets about it and starts playing or running, he uses it almost normally. As his confidence grows, so will his strength.
And what a wonderful little dog he is.
Spud is spunky, energetic, and loves everyone he meets—both people and dogs. He adores having playmates, enjoys neighborhood walks, and is happiest when he's by your side. He'll gladly be your shadow throughout the day and then curl up for a cozy afternoon nap. Whatever you're doing, Spud wants to be part of it.
He has made many friends here at Noah's Arks Rescue and would love a home with another playful dog, though his biggest wish is simply a family to call his own.
While Spud's future is bright, we are still faced with the reality of paying for the surgery that gave him this second chance. We cannot continue helping dogs like Spud without the support of those who believe every dog deserves a chance to heal.
Our Rehab Facility is currently caring for more than 40 dogs, many of whom would have been euthanized if we had not stepped forward. Every surgery, every specialist visit, every medication, and every day of care is made possible by compassionate people like you.
Please consider making a donation toward Spud's medical expenses and the ongoing care of the many abused and neglected dogs who depend on us. Your support allows us to keep saying "yes" when a dog has nowhere else to turn.
Thank you for giving Spud the Gift of Life. Because of your kindness, he now has the opportunity to find the loving family he deserves.
❤️ We can't wait to see this special little boy living the happy life he was always meant to have.
