Greenville, SC....BIANCA is an adorable 10 month old Shih Tzu that was picked up as a stay and brought to Greenville County Animal Control.  She has a ruptured left eye that appears to be from some sort of blunt force trauma.  We do not have any idea what happened to her.  What we do know is that she is loaded with parasites and has to have her eye removed.   Not only has it burst but she has a terrible infection from going so long without treatment.  The other thing we know that is really, really important is that she is as sweet as can be.  Her tail has not stopped wagging since we picked her up today. It is either the drugs for the pain or she is just a happy dog.  We think the latter, since she was that way when we got her. 

Greenville County is over run with good dogs that need to be rescued.  Injured dogs that need medical care are the first to be euthanized in the county shelters.  BIANCA needed out today because of her eye injury or she would have been euthanized.  She is safe and at out vet being treated and waiting for her surgery.  She will make a wonderful family pet for some lucky family.

Bianca has had her eye removed and is doing wonderful.  This sweet dog is so full of life.  All she wants to do is play and love on someone.  She is so sweet and loving.  Losing an eye is not slowing her down at all.

BIANCA has a little respiratory infection but is doing well  now and will be going to her new wonderful home this week.

Bianca has gone to her new home.  As you can see from the pictures below, she is living in the lap of luxury being showered with lots of love and affection.
