Big Ben

Latest Updates

BIG BEN was brought to Greenville County Animal Control from the Emergency Clinic after being picked up as a stray.  He was thoroughly evaluated and it was discovered he has an old leg injury.  His leg is shattered in several places and cannot be repaired.  His leg needs to be amputated because it is a non functioning leg that is keeping him from running and playing.  Big Ben was rescued from the shelter last week and is being treated at our vet for every parasite known to man.  He is scheduled to have his leg amputated today.  This is one incredible dog.  He is so sweet and loving.  How someone could allow this to happen and not get him taken care is very sad for this wonderful dog.  He gets along with other dogs, cats & kids.  He is very easy going and laid back.  He is just happy to be alive and be in a place where people think he is special and he is very special.  We love this big boy.

Our sweet, sweet Ben has had his leg removed and is doing remarkable.  He is walking and running as a tri-pod.  We have a great home for this big beautiful boy in New Jersey.  He will go to his new forever home in one week.

Ben is doing great and will be going to his new home this week-end.

Look at Ben in his new home.  He is so happy & loved.
