Buster & Trudy

Latest Updates

These adorable 4 month old shar pei mix pups were rescued from Lancaster, South Carolina Humane Society.  They are typical little pups in all ways except that Buster has a condition called Cherry Eye.  This condition is caused by a prolapse of the gland of the third eye.  It is very difficult to place a dog with this condition (no matter how cute) so we chose to take them into our surgical program.  We had to wait until they got a little older before doing the surgery.  We had the surgery done on Buster but it did not hold so we are having to go back in and have a different surgical procedure done to make sure this sweet little pup will not have any more problems.  They have been spayed and neutered and brought up to date on all of their  shots.  These are the cutest, most energetic little pups you will ever get to meet.  The little girl is a lot more outgoing than Buster but we think Buster will come around once his eyes have been corrected.  He has experienced a lot of irritation from the eye problem.  He is scheduled to have  his surgery in one week.

These sweet puppies would make a wonderful addition to any home.  They have both been going on visits with the other Therapy Dogs.

Buster had his eye surgery and is doing wonderful.  The next week is a very critical time for this sweet boy.

Buster’s is still recovering from his eye surgery.  This is a wonderful little puppy that loves to run around and play all day long.  He still has some irritation but that is to be expected with all of the surgery he has had.  His sister Trudy is growing like a weed and is becoming quite the little Therapy Dog.  She is too young to be tested now but has been in training.  They are both sweet adorable puppies.
