This sweet schnauzer / poodle was hit by a car and needs emergency surgery to live.  Greenville County Animal Control picked him up and brought him to the shelter.  He has a fractured pelvis in three places, a torn ureter and a ruptured kidney that has to be removed.  He is 15 months old and cute as can be.  Now that we finally know all that is wrong with him we need to raise the money so he will not be euthanized.    His quality of life will be fine once all the surgery is done.  He was at North Greenville Hospital and has been transferred to Upstate Veterinary Specialist in Greenville, SC.

Chevy has survived surgery and is doing well.  We had to remove his kidney and repaired his fractured pelvis.  It was long, complicated surgery but this sweet boy has made it and the worst is over we hope.  We have to make sure that his kidney is functioning normal and then it will be rest and recuperation for this little one.  We will be looking for a foster or permanent home for our little Chevy.  He will be at UVS until we are sure he is out of the woods.

Chevy had surgery this past week to remove his kidney and fix his fractured pelvis from a car accident.  He is doing wonderful and feeling so much better.  We have a wonderful home for Chevy once he heals.
