China is a Brussels Griffon or Yorkie mix, about 6 months old that was hit by a car. She was brought into the Greenville Shelter with a broken pelvis they thought but it has turned out her sacrum was broken in three places. She is about 10 lbs.  This little pup was in unbelievable pain when she came in.  She was put on pain meds but that did very little to ease her discomfort.  We were sure someone would rescue her.  We waited and we waited but because she was going to require immediate surgery, no one stepped up to save her.  Finally, it was decided the pain was too much for this pup and she was going to have to be euthanized.  We decided we couldn’t take it anymore and immediately had her taken to UVS where she was evaluated and surgery was done immediately.  She was in surgery for almost three hours repairing her sacrum and cleaning up all the scar tissue that had started to form.

She is now in a wonderful home getting lots of TLC.

Please, help us cover her expenses.  She is a sweet, adorable pup that endured so much to be here.
