JACKSONVILLE, FL......JACKSON is an adorable tiny 9.5 lb. Lhasa Apso that was found wandering down a road with an injured eye.  It looks like someone left him there.  We think he is close to two years old but is definitely not older than that.  It looks like he has had some sort of trauma to his right eye. He is  rather shy around men so we are not sure if a man did this to him or what is causing this behavior. He doesn’t have any other injuries on his body so we know he wasn’t hit by a car.  His eye is so damaged that it has to be removed.  He is the sweetest little dog.  He looks at you with his one good eye and follows you all over the place.  He was brought into the Jackson Clay County Animal Control.  Once his stray hold was up we offered to take him so he could get the necessary surgery he needed.  A wonderful pilot brought Jackson to us and he has already had his eye removed and is recovering.  His eye was really bothering him so we had it removed as soon as possible so he could start his new life.  Jackson will make a wonderful member of the family.  He prefers women and will be your shadow no matter where you go.  He gets along great with other dogs and loves life.  He likes men but is not as loving as he is with women.  He loves women.
