FULTON COUNTY, GA.....Sweet Mallory was brought into Fulton County Animal Control as a stray.  She was so sick that the vet gave the the Adoption Coordinator only one day to find her a rescue or she would have to be euthanized.  Mallory is a sweet 9 month old Staffordshire Terrier / Shar Pei pup that looks like she is very old.  Only when you look really close do you realize she is still a baby.   We are beyond full.  We have so many animals in hospitals being treated  that I had no business saying yes, but yes I said.  This is a sweet, skinny, puffed up goofy girl that didn’t ask for the life she got but has been doing her best to make the most of it.  Noah’s Arks got a new baby.  Dear Mallory has been suffering with Demodex for so long that she is one big hot infection.  The folds of her skin are just oozing and weeping.  We have had her for several weeks now to see if we can get her skin under control.  She has improved but is still a hot mess.  The good part is that she is now starting to love her baths.  They soothe her itchy skin and help calm her nervous system.  Because of horrible ear-cropping, her ears have been infected.  We are finally getting that under control. Her feet are all swollen and inflamed and has been painful for her to walk on but she doesn’t care. She is a puppy and all she wants to do is run and play.  I can’t wait to see what our little beauty is going to turn into once she grows into her skin and her body heals.  Mallory is going to make a wonderful family pet for someone special.  We adore this bundle of energy that still sees the world as a wonderful place.

Sweet Mallory is the sweetest pup.  She loves everyone.  Life is one big party as far as she is concerned.  She is slowly beginning to put some weight back on but not as quickly as we would like.  Her body is not a hot mess any longer and is not itching like it was in the beginning.  She loves her soaks and has decided that life is pretty good here.  We feel like we now have her on the right antibiotic to get her infections all cleared up.  Her skin is now a lot drier that it was in the beginning and is no longer oozing.  All in all, she is doing wonderful.  The picture above gives you a better idea of her size.  She is not a huge puppy  but will get bigger.  We love this wonderful dog and only want her to have the best home possible.  She will be great in any Family.  Thanks for caring.
