PINKY is an adorable 5 month old lab/pit mix that was picked up in Decatur, GA.   She has a terrible case of demodex, is skin and bones and covered with fleas.  Some of the areas are infected and bleeding from not being treated when she was young.  She was at the DeKalb County Shelter when we picked up OREO. There was no way we could pick up one and leave the other to be euthanized.  She is being treated for parasites and her skin problems.  We are hopeful we will begin to see what kind of dog she really is when her fur starts coming in and we put some weight on her.  All we know now is that she is a puppy that someone just never took care of and abandoned in this horrible condition.  She is the perfect age to be introduced into some lucky families life.  All she wants to do is play and love on you.

Pinky is doing great.  She is putting weight back on and her skin is beginning to heal without all the itching and swelling she was having before.  She is still at the vet and will be there for a while until we are sure we have the demodex under control.

This incredible puppy is a ball of energy now that she is feeling better.  she is no longer pink and is a light beige color.  She is so adorable with those green color eyes of hers. 

Pinky is no longer pink and her fur is coming in beautifully. She is growing like a weed and is doing wonderful.  She will make a wonderful family pet for someone.  She gets along great with other dogs and loves kids.
