Sweet Bruno is doing wonderful.  His mouth and tongue are healing and he has begun to learn how to eat meatballs and drink water.  We have ordered a fountain for him to use to make sure he gets enough water on his own.  That will go with him whenever he is adopted.  This week, we will be removing 8-9 teeth that were damaged from the shotgun.  A lot of the teeth have bone that is also damaged that will also be removed.  Bruno takes everything that has happened to him with a smile on his face.  He never complains.  All he wants to do is curl up in your lap and give you lots of slobbery kisses.  When we first got him, he was foaming at the mouth a lot from his injuries.  That has now resolved itself and he only does it a small amount.  Bruno will make a wonderful addition to any household.  Once he is well, he will go to our trainer to learn some basic manners and then he will be ready to be placed.  Please, think about giving this wonderful dog the home he never had where he will be loved and cherished for the incredible loving dog he is.
