Our sweet girl has almost totally recovered from her gunshot wound.  She had minor surgery this past week to clean out any infection she still had that was coming from the exit wound below her chin.  .  The area had not healed completely and we wanted to make sure there was not anything festering.  The area already looks better after doing the final repair.  The fistula in the roof of her mouth that also went into her sinus cavity has healed completely.  The area in her jaw bone that was repaired has also healing completely.  As you can see from the pictures, Daisy Mae is doing wonderful and is loving life.  She is a happy girl no matter what she is doing. She is running and playing with dear Sam in the photo above.  We are so thankful we had the opportunity to save her.  She is an amazing little Pitbull that loves everyone and every animal she comes around.  Every day is play day as far as she is concerned.  Thanks for caring and helping us with her medical bills.  Our little girl is finally ready to go to her new home.
