HOPE

August 9, 2009

The beautiful pup is recovering nicely from her car accident.  She is in a foster home where they just adore her.  She is a lot more laid back than we originally thought she would be.

This sweet pekingese is doing wonderful after her surgery.  She has adapted to losing an eye and is walking with only a little discomfort since her pelvic surgery.  In the picture, the  pinched part on the left of her removed eye is common when there is excess skin. That will settle down and go away once the fur grows back.  She is at North Greenville Animal Hospital  for her recovery until she is adopted.

Hope was picked up and brought to the emergency clinic in Greenville, SC after being hit by a car. She was then taken to the shelter to be euthanized because no one showed up for her.  She has a right sacroiliac luxation, left hip luxation and perforated left corneal ulcer  The sacroiliac joint or SI joint is the joint between the sacrum, at the base of the spine and the ilium of the pelvis.  Those were all repaired and she had to have her left eye removed because of the ulcer from the injury.  She is a beautiful sweet  pikingese that is 10 months old and will make a wonderful companion for someone.  She is available for adoption.

Please, help us help her by donating.
