This adorable 5 month old rat terrier was hit by a car in Decatur, GA.  She was brought to the Dekalb County Humane Society and was left there for 5 days while they tried to find the owners.  Betsy had tags on with disconnected phone numbers.  She had to be kept for five days to see if anyone came for her.  She was given pain meds while she waited for an owner that never came for her.  At the end of the five days she was scheduled to be euthanized.  She is a beautiful sweet little dog that does not deserve to die this way. Her pelvis is fractured in three places and she in an unbelievable amount of pain because her sacrum is fractured.  She is at the surgical center in Columbia now waiting for surgery.  Please, help us with this wonderful little dog.  Without your help she will not get the surgeries she so desperately needs to live a long healthy life.  If you are interested in adopting Betsy, please let us know now.

This adorable little dog has won the hearts of everyone that comes in contact with her.  We have several people interested in her and we are waiting to make sure she is recovering nicely from her surgery before she goes into her new home.  She is doing great and would love to run around if we would let her, which we are not going to do for four weeks.

Betsy is our doing wonderful since her surgery.  She is getting around like she never had surgery at all.  It is all we can to restrict her exercise.  She is full of energy this one.
