COLUMBIA, SC.......Say Hello to the sweetest dog you will ever get to meet.   BeBe was picked up wandering down a country road in Monch's Corner, SC starving to death.  A good Samaritan picked her up, and we were contacted.   If you looked at her head on, she was paper thin.   She weighed 19 pounds when we got her, and she now weighs almost 30 pounds.    She was anemic and loaded with parasites when we stepped up for her.   BeBe is a two-year-old Foxhound Mix that someone had literally almost starved to death.  How anyone could have stood by and allowed this to happen is unimaginable.  It has taken us almost six weeks to get her on the mend.  When you get this emaciated your organs go into survival mode.   It takes weeks for the body to accept food again.  Her values went up and down for several weeks before they finally stabilized.    During this entire time, BeBe was the sweetest dog you would ever want to be around.   She is happy, loving and thinks we are all wonderful for taking into our Medical Program.  If we didn't each have multiple dogs, she would be by the fire in one of our Living Rooms dreaming sweet dreams of chasing foxes.   BeBe loves everyone and everything.  She is pure JOY and LOVE.  Hunting dogs are always sweet and loving.   They are happy go lucky, and whatever happens, happens.  BeBe takes that love and sweetness to a whole different level.
