Blizzard is on the mend.  We have removed her infected eye, and that is not giving her any issues.   The biopsies we took from the masses that were removed, I am happy to report came back NORMAL.   We were expecting the worst and hoping for the best.  You can't get any better than those results.  We will take good news any day.  

As you can see from the pictures, our sweet Blizzard's skin infections and yeast are finally under control.  She has to be on her medicine for another two weeks, but the results show it is working.   With good food and supplements, her bloodwork is almost in the normal range.   We did discover that she has a little bit of arthritis in her spine that slows her down a little.  You only notice it when she gets up first thing in the morning.  Once she is up, she is ready to take on the day.   We have her and a lot of the older dogs or dogs with joint problems on a Glucosamine joint supplement that seems to give them great relief.  

Sweet Blizzard will be ready to go her new home in the next couple of weeks.   We are happy to report the person that found her and contacted us has been approved to adopt her.    We love happy endings like this.  Our sweet girl will finally have a home she can call her own with a Family she has already met.   Thanks for caring about Blizzard and being part of her Journey to find Love.
