I wanted to wish everyone a very blessed and joyful Christmas, and also share an update on our sweet Timber. ❤️🐾
Overall, Timber has been doing wonderfully. We did have a few moments of concern when he started throwing up—something that might not alarm most dog owners, but with Timber, it immediately set off alarm bells. He was seen by our veterinarian, and we consulted closely with his Critical Care team at CVRC to be sure we were not missing anything. Scans and an ultrasound showed nothing new, his bloodwork was unremarkable, and his urinalysis was normal with no casts present. We added stomach medication, which has helped some, and over the last couple of days we adjusted his feeding schedule. So far, that seems to be helping, and we have not seen any new episodes.
We continue to be extra cautious with Timber given his history and liver issues. While we still don’t know what originally triggered those problems—and we know they may resurface one day—his liver values are currently all great. We will celebrate every single win with this beautiful boy. Our goal is to give Timber an amazing life: one where he is carefully monitored, but still gets to be a normal dog—sniffing, playing, and running outside with joy.
Timber would not be here today without your incredible support throughout his journey to survive and thrive. His miracles happened because you believed his life had meaning and value. He is here because you cared.
Thank you for your generous hearts and your selfless love for man’s best friend. 🐶❤️
Wishing you a very blessed holiday season from everyone at Noah’s Arks Rescue. 🎄✨
